Chiaroscuro

"Chiaroscuro" this project is my way of connecting with the artists who have shaped my vision. In Valletta, Malta, I experienced Caravaggio’s work in person for the first time an overwhelming moment of power and reflection. His mastery of light and shadow felt almost tangible, and I sought to channel that same energy through my own art. Each piece in this series is created on-site, beyond the confines of a studio, fostering a direct dialogue between the artwork, the environment, and the emotions it evokes. Painting in open spaces, fully immersed in the surroundings, allows for a raw, unfiltered connection between art and place. This is just the beginning. I will continue this journey, creating work in spaces that inspire and challenge me, engaging with artistic legacies that shape my path forward.
