The Scream

echoes beneath the surface

Concept

The Scream is a series of large-scale paintings from my early period, delving into the depths of human emotion through portraiture. Each canvas captures a raw, unfiltered cry of the soul loneliness, tension, and introspection conveyed through bold strokes, abstract forms, and dynamic textures. This series doesn’t aim to frighten but to reveal. Through expressive marks and layered colors, I strip away the surface to expose the energy, chaos, and life within. These works are powerful yet intimate, balancing raw emotion with thoughtful artistic composition, making them deeply connected to both the viewer and the spaces they inhabit. The Scream is an ongoing exploration. My vision is to expand it into a dedicated exhibition, where each portrait stands as a singular emotional statement never repeating, always distinct. Capturing that unique and unmistakable emotion in each piece remains the core challenge and purpose of this series.
